Erosion control structure workshops and volunteer efforts continue at Deep Dirt Farm Institute. Preparations continue for seed and seedling protection for winter, and infrastructure development in preparation for increased production in spring 2013.

BHRI personnel visit Rancho El Inmaculada in Sonora, Mexico, to participate in, advise upon, and learn from a Mexican rancher-based workshop and group attempting to restore ecological function and economic diversity and viability on degraded ranches.
