Patagonia’s New Hitching Post

Horses at the Hitching Post

Two weeks ago, a hitching post emerged in the town park in Patagonia.

This emergence excited many of us at Borderlands Restoration, since it meant there were still enough land-based people in town to initiate this hitching post. One of our main goals at Borderlands is to encourage the creation of a restoration economy – a system of people whose livelihood is either directly or indirectly related to preserving or sustainably working with the land.

May this be the first of many hitching posts in town.
