The space next to new the Borderlands’ office on Third Avenue  & McKeown is gearing up to be a retail and information exchange space. Borderlands Restoration has native plants for sale, and in time, hope to have various other resources available for people interested in pollinator gar- dens, garden tools, books, ecological top- ics, etc. Come see demo gardens and a watershed restoration model. The location will provide a place where people can meet to exchange information, learn, and share stories about various topics surrounding land-based lifestyles (plant, animal, human) in our area. Stay tuned for educational workshops on topics such as pollinator syndromes, common garden insects, herbalism, and seed collection. The space will develop as needs and voices emerge. Anita Clevesco-Wharton is head- ing up the effort. Kate Tirion is doing the landscaping.
