Ann's Bio

Ann Gosline decided early in her legal career to focus on bringing diverse groups together to find solutions to tough challenges. Gosline has designed and facilitated multi-party processes to address transportation planning systems, wind power siting regulatory processes, state/federal wetlands regulation, watershed restoration, transboundary fisheries management, marine protected areas, wildlife management, environmental risk assessment, environmental priority setting, and health system reform.

She is currently focusing on projects bringing organizations together to accelerate large-scale habitat conservation and restoration and working on projects focusing on adaptation to and mitigation of climate change. She is on the roster of facilitators for the federal U.S. Institute for Environmental Conflict Resolution. Gosline has taught mediation and conflict resolution at the University of Maine Law School, is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators, is on multiple permanent arbitration panels for federal agencies and their unions.
