DYLAN's Bio

Dylan Powell (he/him) is our latest University of Arizona's Resilience Internships and Student Experiences (RISE) Program intern, helping us in the native plant and education programs. 

 

Dylan will be graduating from the University of Arizona this Fall. Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, he developed a deep love for nature and the environment, inspired by the lush trees, greenery, and forests surrounding him. 

 

This summer, he is thrilled to be interning at Borderlands Restoration Network, where he is working with the Native Plant and Education Programs. These programs promote and protect biodiversity and ecosystems in the Sky Islands by providing restoration-quality native plant materials. 

 

A fun fact about Dylan is that he has three dogs who enjoy nature and the environment.
