VISION

We envision connected borderlands where rivers flow, plants, wildlife, and cultures thrive, and communities develop an inclusive restorative economy where a sense of place inspires a sense of purpose.

WHERE WE WORK

WHERE WE WORK

We work primarily in southern Arizona and northern Sonora, a region defined by four focus watersheds. These transnational watersheds – Upper Santa Cruz, Sonoita Creek, Upper San Pedro, Whitewater Draw including Turkey Creek, and San Bernardino – cover traditional Apache, Ópata, and other indigenous lands.

While much of our work takes place within these watersheds, we have several projects and partnerships west with the Tohono O’odham Nation, east into New Mexico and Chihuahua, south to Hermosillo, and north into central Arizona.

The Network

Meet our network partner organizations that work together to create and seize opportunities that allow us to advance our collective work in ways that no one organization could do alone.
